Obituary
Jeffrey Glenn "Rex" Waggoner, 37, of Festus entered into rest Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at his Festus residence. Born December 7, 1971, in Dexter, Missouri, to Glenn Thomas & Martha Jane (Southerland-Burke) Waggoner, Jr of Festus. He was a foreman/custom tile setter for Ford Marble & Tile, New Athens,IL and was a USMC E4 Corporal who had served in the Gulf War. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, Festus.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Marie (Smock) Waggoner; children: Cierra Dawnn, Thomas Jeffrey and Benjamin Andrew Waggoner of the home; brother, Richard (Trina) Waggoner of Festus; sisters: Sherre Waggoner of Maplewood, Pamela (Jeffrey) Wass of Festus, Lori Ann (Steve) Shaffer of Sunset Hills and Vicki (Quintin) Day of Lebanon, MO; mother-in-law, Clancy (Bolona) Smock; sisters-in-law, Frances Smock and the late Misty Smock; brother-in-law, Brian Smock, Jr; father-in-law, Brian (Colleen) Smock, Sr; family companion, Mac the Yorkie; loved by many nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles.

He liked to play the drums and he was a master at his trade but will most be remembered for being "The World's Best Daddy"
