Obituary
James Victor Merseal,Jr., 71, of Bonne Terre died March 26, 2007 in Bonne Terre. Mr. Merseal was a truck drive and a member of the Moose Lodge in Boone Terre. He was a veteran of the U.S.military. Born Feb 23, 1936, in DeSoto, he was the son of the late James V. and Mary (Baker) Merseal, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Mansfield) Merseal of Bonne Terre; eight sons: Ricky (Glenda) Merseal of DeSoto, Mike Merseal of Hillsboro, Randy (Diane) Merseal of Festus, Allen (Rachel) Merseal of Hillsboro, Ronnie (Michelle)Haggard of Troy, Eugene (Theresa) Haggard Jr. of O'Fallon, Billy (Roberta) Haggard of Cyril, Oklahoma, and Claxton "Dale" (Kim) Haggard of Jacksonville, Florida; six daughters: Tammy (Bob) Holman of Mississippi, Michelle (Howard) LaDuke of Ft. McCoy, Florida, Robin (Bret) Reeves of DeSoto, Ronda (Rick) Osia of DeSoto, Romona (Jack) Keyser of Bonne Terre and Regina (Jon) Kleinstuber of DeSoto; four brothers, Kenny (Sandy) Merseal of DeSoto, Milford (Kathy) Merseal of Bonne Terre, Bobby (Barb) Merseal of St. Louis and Leonard (Fay) Pullen of DeSoto; three sisters: Glenda Rhives of Festus, Lome(Gary) Johnson of DeSoto and Betty Denton of Irondale; 32 grandchildren and 11 grea-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Bailey.

Visitaion held on Thursday, March 29, from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Mahn Funeral Home, DeSoto Chapel. Funeral service on March 30, 2007 at 11:00a.m. with Rev. Gene Moses officiating.
