Obituary
Mr. William F. Prosser, Sr., DeSoto, passed away at Jefferson Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the age of 69 years and 14 days. He was born in St. Louis on October 18, 1940; the son of Helen (Fullington) Prosser, DeSoto and the late John P. Prosser,II. William is survived by his loving wife, Wilma (Brewer) Prosser, DeSoto.

Mr. Prosser is also survived by six sons: William (Pam) Prosser, Jr., Barnhart, Jeff Prosser, Chesterfield, Jim (Johnna) Prosser, Arkansas, David (Emily) Prosser, DeSoto, Melvin (Denise) Lay, Jr., Arkansas and Jimmy (Lisa) Lay, Texas; six daughters: Cindi Fisk, Affton, Debbie Bequette, DeSoto, Terry (Tim) Glore, Festus, Linda (Glen) Dunn, Herculaneum, Jeanne Stoll, Festus and Dawn (Russell) McKenzie, Texas; forty-one grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jill Prosser of St. Louis, MO.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a wife, Carol Sue (Jones) Prosser; three brothers: Thomas Michael Prosser, John Phillip Prosser, III, and Jack Prosser.

Mr. Prosser was a pattern-rigger for Bodine Aluminum. He loved his family and liked to ride his motorcycle.

Brother Bob Thebeau will be officiating the funeral service.
