Norma (Black) Kirchner. 90, (formerly of Festus & DeSoto) entered into rest Friday, December 11, 2009 at St Joe Manor in Bonne Terre. Born August 28, 1919, in East St Louis, IL, to the late Ernest & Gladys (Swan) Black. She was a retired packer for Monsanto where she was known as the "Beauty Queen" for Monsanto Corp and her photos were used in their advertising. She was a member of Arnold Garden Club and she enjoyed crocheting & sewing. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Kirchner, who entered into rest 2002.
She is survived by daughters: Joyce ( Kenneth) Haus of Festus, MO and Carolyn (Fred) Hemme of Bonne Terre, MO; brother, Donald (Billie) Black of TX; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by brothers: Jackson Black, Jerry Black and Bud Black; and sister, Elvira Black.
Pastor Bryan Schaefer will officiate service.
