Obituary
Alfred Lum Oliver, 81, entered into rest Monday, January 3, 2011 at his Festus residence. He was a retired truck driver at Consolidated Freight and a U.S. Army veteran who had served in the Korean War. Born April 9, 1929, in Arkansas, to the late James & Lillie Lee (Latham) Oliver.

He is survived by his loving family which includes his wife of 62 years, Lawanda (Mills) Oliver; sons: Roger (Linda) Oliver of Festus, MO, James "Rick" (Debbie) Oliver of Imperial, MO and Kevin (Tammy) Oliver of Crystal City, MO; daughter: Vicki (Ervie) Brown of Festus, MO; brother, Manual (Janice) Oliver of Jackson, MO; sisters: Marie (Bob) Abernathy of Morley, MO, Wilma (Gary) Finn of St Louis, MO and Bonnie (David) Brenning of Troy, MO; sister-in-laws: LaDonna Oliver of Perryville, MO and Mary Jane Oliver of St Louis, MO; brother-in-laws: Bill Miller of Fredricktown, MO and Butch Abernathy of Morley, MO; 9 grandchildren: Angel, Becky, Kindra, Branden, Jeremy, Aaron, Alicia, Kelly & Ryan; and 12 great grandchildren: Brandon, Grace, Setiah, Shaylynne, Chelsea, Justin, Hunter, Caitlin, Emma, Kevin, Jacob & Chloe.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers: Avery Oliver, Seth Oliver & Albert Oliver; and sisters: Betty Abernathy and Ann Miller.

He was a member of Radiant Life Pentecostal Church and teamsters; he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Reverend Randy Gray will officiate service.
