Herbert "Herb" G. Cooper, age 61, of DeSoto entered into rest on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 in Crystal City, MO. Herb was born to George Cooper Sr. and Marion (Wilson) Cooper on July 20, 1949 in Brainerd, MN. He leaves behind loving parents, mother, Marion and Dad, John Hartman of Brainerd, MN,Wife, Kim (Sprouse) Cooper of DeSoto, Sons; Aaron and Jason Cooper of Arkansas and Step-Son Dennis Roam of DeSoto. He also is survived by daughters; Rhonda (Clyde) Martinez of Branson, MO and Renee (Randy) Fears of Colorado and Step-daughter Elizabeth Roam of DeSoto, brother; George (Maureen) Cooper, Jr. of Brainerd, MN, grandchildren; Julian, Sr., Rhiannon, and Essence, Great-grandchildren; Julian, Jr., Corrine, Jadyn, Joziah, Dominique and Osyrus, in addition to many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, George Cooper, Sr. and his first wife, Judy (Byers) Cooper.
Herb was self-employed as a custom car restorer, served in the Navy for many years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Amvets Post 48 Honor Guards and a member of Raintree Church in Hillsboro. Pastor Larry Addison will officiate the service on Monday.
