Obituary
Goldie R. Thompson-Hickle, 81, of DeSoto entered into rest on January 31, 2007 in Crystal City. Mrs. Thompson-Hickle was born September 19, 1925 in Campbell, Missouri, the daughter of the late Walter and Pearl Harp. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Thompson.

She is survived by her second husband, James Hickle of DeSoto; one son, Darrel (Deena) Thompson of DeSoto; four daughters: Diane (Joe) Oettle of Farmington, Deborah Young of Fredericktown, Sharon (Michael) Bone of DeSoto and LaDonna (Lonnie) Govro of Festus; two brothers: Hobert (Willa Dean) Harp of Doniphan and Birdell (Diane) Harp of Gunntown, Mississippi; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, DeWayne Thompson and a brother, Donald Harp

Funeral service was officiated by Rev. Ron Duncan.

Mrs. Thompson-Hickle was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed shopping, travel, singing and playing guitar.
